Once you collect the first few shards and place them on the pedestal, you'll travel back in time to Rexwood and meet Matilda.

2. The town you help Sim build is created on the former site of which town from the past?

When the Dialac region is restored to the present time, Sim will be there waiting for you. He'll ask you to help him build a town here by telling people about it. Once you get to a certain point, you'll be able to name the new town as well.

3. In which location do you revive Melvin and he joins your party?

Answer: World's Tallest Tower

Melvin is in the World's Tallest Tower, which is just west of the Medal King's Castle. You'll need the HotStone to reach Melvin and revive him.

The wagon was in "Dragon Warrior IV," and in V and VI, which were never translated into English, but there is no wagon in "Dragon Warrior VII."
