Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Which of the following characters has a completely unique class?

Answer: Olivia

Olivia is the only character in the game with the Dancer class. The Dancer works like it does in other games; by dancing for an allied unit, they can take another turn, but she doesn't have very high stats. Interestingly, this means Olivia also has two exclusive skills; Luck +4 and Special Dance, which can be passed down to her children (although their effectiveness is debatable).

Chrom can be a Lord, but so can Lucina, and Say'ri and Ricken don't have any unique classes.
2. All skills with "-breaker" in the name raise the units Hit/Avoid stats by fifty when fighting an enemy with the named weapon. Which of the following weapon types does not have a "-breaker" skill associated with it?

Answer: Stone

The beaststone and dragonstone weapons do not have any "-breaker" skills associated with them. Since only one enemy in the entire game is fought that uses one of these as a weapon, this makes sense. It also means that Panne, Nowi, and Tiki, as well as their children, can always attack any enemies with a pretty good chance of hitting them.
3. Which of the following classes learns the skill Defender?

Answer: Paladin

Defender raises all stats of a character in a Pair Up by one. It works on either character, so even if the character with Defender is inactive in the Pair Up, the one in front still gets the stat bonus.

The Griffon Rider gets a similar skill called Deliverer, which raises movement by two when the character is in a Pair Up. It has the same properties as Defender.
4. Which of the following skills does not alter any stats?

Answer: Astra

Astra is a skill learned by the Swordmaster that, when activated, allows the character to attack five times, but at half the damage for each strike. This allows the equipped character to deal 2.5x the regular amount of damage. Each strike has its own individual critical chance, and if the unit would attack the opponent twice on their own, Astra can activate for both attacks, allowing the user to attack ten times total.

Pavise may double the user's defense when they get hit by a sword, axe, lance, or beaststone, Axefaire raises the user's strength by five when they have an axe equipped, and Gamble raises the user's crit by 10 in exchange for lowering their Hit by five.
5. Which of the following skills has an icon that does not include a stick figure?

Answer: Galeforce

Galeforce is a skill learned by the Dark Flier class that allows the unit to take a second turn once they defeat an enemy. It's extremely helpful for clearing out maps, moving across large ones, or getting to an ally that needs to be healed or rescued. Unfortunately, it's locked to female characters, but some mothers can pass it down to their children.
6. Which of the following characters joins the army with all five skill slots filled?

Answer: Aversa

As a level twenty Dark Flier, Aversa already has the four skills she normally gets in her class - Speed +2, Relief, Rally Movement, and Galeforce - as well as a skill exclusive to Aversa, Shadowgift. This skill allows her to use dark magic in any magic wielding class, when this is usually locked to the Dark Mage and Sorcerer classes. It can be passed down to her children.
7. Which of the following classes does not learn a Rally skill?

Answer: Berserker

The Warrior gives Rally Strength, the Sage learns Rally Magic, and the Falcon Knight gets Rally Speed. These skills allow the unit to raise the names stat by four (except Rally Luck, which raises the stat by eight) for all surrounding allies, but not themselves. They can't be stacked with each other (for example, two characters with Rally Skill can't use it for a stat boost of eight, but they can combine it with other Rally skills to raise multiple stats), but Rally Spectrum and Rally Heart (learned by the Grandmaster and Bride classes respectively) can raise all stats and stack with the other skills.

The Berserker instead learns Wrath and Axefaire.
8. Which of the following classes can't attack?

Answer: Troubadour

The Troubadour is only able to use staffs, and therefore can't attack. The other classes I mentioned can also use staffs, but they have another weapon that can be used offensively; the Valkyrie and Sage can both use tomes, while the Falcon Knight wields lances.
9. Which of the following character has skills that he shouldn't be able to learn?

Answer: Priam

Despite joining the army as a Hero, Priam has access to the skills Luna, Swordbreaker, and Lancebreaker, which he can't normally obtain. Luna is learned by the Great Knight, which Priam is unable to reclass into, and Swordbreaker and Lancebreaker are both only available to classes in the Wyvern Rider line, which is once again unavailable to Priam.
10. Which of the following is not a healing skill?

Answer: Patience

Patience is a skill learned by the Mercenary class. It raises the unit's Hit and Avoid by ten when they are under attack.

Relief heals the unit by 10% of their max HP at the beginning of the turn if there are no units within three spaces of them (not including units the user is Paired Up with) and is learned by the Pegasus Knight. Renewal heals the user by 30% of their max HP at the beginning of every turn. It is learned by the War Cleric and War Monk classes.

Sol is learned by the Hero, and may heal the user equal to half the damage they deal with an attack. Interestingly, Sol also has a weapon with the same name and effect. It is a sword that is used by Walhart in Chapter 19, and is dropped upon his defeat.
