Answer: Claire Redfield

Claire Redfield, the younger sister of Chris Redfield, is on a mission to find her brother after getting captured on Rockfort Island. There she meets Steve Burnside, and a chain of unusual events is put into motion.

2. Who is the eldest member mentioned of the Ashford Family?

Answer: Veronica

Veronica, the oldest known member of the Ashford family, was mentioned by Alfred at his first appearace. Alexander was Alfred and Alexia's father, and Alfred is just hiding out in the palace.

3. What two items almost cause Steve's death in the Palace?

Answer: The Gold Lugers

Steve found two Gold Lugers in a small cove at the palace, attached to the wall. As he took them off, the door to the cove slammed shut and he was trapped. Claire rushed back to save him.

4. What was the number on the skeleton painting in the sealed section of the laboratory?

Answer: 1126

The number 1126 was the code to opening the door in the Military Training Facility, just before the Palace. You have to zoom in on the painting to see it.

The order of Veronica, Stanley, Thomas, Arthur, Edward, Alexander, and Alfred is so on account of the proceeding generations. The first founder was Veronica, up to Alfred, who still lives during the game.

Answer: Rodrigo Duval

Rodrigo comes into the jail cell at the beginning of the game injured because of the explosions going on above. He lets Claire go because "there is no hope of escaping anyway". Claire later helps him out by bringing him some hemostatic medicine.

7. In Alfred and Alexia's room, how do you find out that Alfred is actually Alexia?

Answer: Makeup can be seen on his face

It is true that a wig and ball gown are found, but just after Alfred leaps from Alexia's bed top, he looks in the mirror, shrieks, and flees. Claire and Steve figure it out at this point.

8. What initially prevents Steve and Claire from leaving the island when the self-destruct system goes off?

Answer: The bridge needs to be raised

Claire and Steve reach the plane in good time, but Steve cries out and fiddles with the switches, pointing out that the bridge needs to be raised. Alfred does send out the Tyrant, but Claire does not have to confront him until just before reaching the Palace. then later, after liftoff.

9. Where does Alfred send Claire and Steve after setting their plane on auto-pilot?

Answer: Antarctica

Steve wakes Claire up after checking the coordinates, realizing that they are flying over the Antarctic. They land at an Umbrella base soon after. Steve cries out, just before the crash, "The Antarctic! We're flying over the Antarctic!"

10. What happens to Steve at the battle with Nosferatu?

Answer: He falls

He falls after an attack from Nosferatu's tendrils, and Claire promises that she'll come back for him. Upon defeating the monster, Claire hoists Steve up to safety, and the two find transportation.
