Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. How many characters are playable in the game (excluding unlockable characters)?

Answer: Twenty-five

Remember to count Zero-Suit Samus and Sheik as well. Also count Pokemon Trainer's three Pokemon as three, not one.
2. What does the "Mario" universe logo look like?

Answer: Mushroom

The star represents the "Kirby" universe, the triforce represents the "Legend of Zelda" universe and the flower represents the "Pikmin" universe. The universe logos signify the stages based on that particular series of games.
3. Who is the lightest fighter in the game?

Answer: Jigglypuff

Hard to believe, I know, but Jigglypuff was also the lightest in the original "Super Smash Bros.". It lost the title in "Super Smash Bros. Melee" to Pichu.
4. Which 2 characters are special in the fact that some of their taunts can cause damage to others?

Answer: Luigi and Snake

Those two characters have some taunts that give the opponent 2% damage. Luigi's taunt also did damage in the previous two games.
5. Which of these characters doesn't have a sword?

Answer: Mr. Game & Watch

Kirby uses a sword in his up special, Meta Knight always has a sword by his side and Ganondorf uses a sword in one of his taunts. Question is, why doesn't he use it?
6. How many colours, including the original, do most of the fighters' costumes have?

Answer: Six

All the characters except Sonic, Pikachu and Jigglypuff have 6 colours. Wario's bonus costume also has 6 six colours.
7. Which character doesn't leave a trail of something when dashing?

Answer: Meta Knight

Look closely and you will see them leave a trail of something. R.O.B leaves circles, Pit leaves feathers and Ivysaur leaves leaves.
8. Which universe doesn't have a character to go with its stage?

Answer: Animal Crossing

"Animal Crossing" really should have a character from it. Pictochat doesn't have a character as well.
9. Which character has a bonus costume?

Answer: Wario

You can choose for Wario to be in his "Warioware" outfit or his overalls, both with 6 colours. Zero-Suit Samus doesn't count as an alternate costume for Samus.
10. Which of these characters isn't part of a "Mario" sub-series?

Answer: R.O.B.

Although R.O.B. appeared in "Mario Kart DS", he is not part of the "Mario" sub-series. R.O.B. was a short-lived accessory for the NES.
