This isn't a bad journey, apart from the terrible part of the M42 around Birmingham, especially now it is ridden with speed cameras!
2. Which A road would I follow if I was driving from Newcastle to Carlisle?

Answer: A69

This is a lovely drive, especially where the road follows Hadrian's wall.

Two breweries are visible, Sam Smiths and John Smiths. Lucky people of Tadcaster!

To your right you will see the marvellous feat of civil engineering that is the Humber Bridge.
8. On my way home from Hull to Derbyshire, I take which Motorways?

The eastern part of the M62 and M18 are mainly notable for passing over some very flat countryside. Nice quiet fast roads but watch out for plod!

Answer: Ouse

The port of Goole can be seen over to the left. This bridge can be rather hairy in a high wind.

Answer: Tibshelf

I've never stopped at this services as it's so close to home; it can be a welcome sight nonetheless.
