The Rollright Stones are old stones found in England on the border of Oxfordshire and Warwickshire. The Rollright Stones are made up of several different stones each having their own name. The names of the stones are The King's Men, the King stone and the Whispering Knights. The oldest stone is the Whispering Knights.

This question sounded intriguing. Using pennie1478's reference, it seems that the origin of the name is uncertain.

It may be from Old English, meaning "the property of Hrolla". Alternatively, the Celtic language leads to "rodland", wheel arena and stone circle.

The King's Men
… was originally built as an accurate circle … for ceremonial gatherings

The King's Stone
most likely to have been erected around 1500 BC as a permanent memorial to the burial ground

The Whispering Knights
probably one the earliest funerary monuments in Britain, perhaps built around 3,800 BC
