What is the smallest species of reptile?

A chameleon called "Brookesia nana." This wee beastie measures just 13.5 mm (0.5 in) in body length (ignoring its tail). That's around the same size as a sunflower seed.
the tiny reptile is brown in colour and unlike many other chameleon is unable to change colour. The species was discovered in 2021 in northern Madagascar.
