Uzbek gymnast Oksana Chusovitina, was aged 46 at the 2020 Tokyo summer games (held in 2021). The athlete had participated in eight consecutive Olympics, beginning in 1992.
At Tokyo 2020, Chusovitina, then age 46, became the oldest female gymnast to compete at an Olympics.
