In golf, what is colloquially known as a "fried egg"?

A fried egg in golf is when your ball is buried in a sand trap deep enough that you can just see the top of it. Certainly, it is a very challenging lie with which to contend. Another "F" word in the golfing dictionary is "foot wedge" which can be useful when you are dealing with a fried egg!
