A Locost is a home-made car inspired by the Lotus Seven which is a two-seater open-top sports car made by Lotus between 1957 and 1973. The car is meant to be made from scratch but chassis kits are available to be purchased. Buyers then add their own panels usually fibreglass and their own mechanicals, and customise as required.
