It's time to be in with the old, and... out with some new?
For this Commission, all titles must contain the word 'Old'. This should not be part of a larger word unless you're expanding on 'old' in reference to agedness. So 'Old', 'Older', and 'Oldest' will work, but 'Cold' or 'Stronghold' would not work in the title.
The title you wish to commission should be sent directly to my mailbox via private message. As always, on the starting date, you will receive your title, at random, from another participant that must be written with. On the date your quiz goes online, the original sender will be noted here and the quiz will be added to the completed list.
Commissions are generally not open to first-time authors. Please have at least a few quizzes already online before joining this. If you have a title for Commission 77 or 79, that title must be queued before you join this Commission.
The deadline for sign-ups is Sunday, Feb 2 at 12am FST (noon). And at that point, titles will no longer be added to the list. I will note that I am not in a normal (for me) time zone this time around, so going for midnight on Feb 2 should get them out as on-time as possible. As always, you will also be notified via a personal message when I've added your title to the master list here.

Hi Kyle; I've never taken on a Challenge before but now that I've a hundred Quizzes under my belt I think I can have a go. Can you just explain what you mean in your first posting by "you will receive your title, at random, from another participant that must be written with". Southendboy - You submit a title to the mix, in this commission, one containing the word "old" in some way. All the titles are put in a pot and you are given one at random, which is your title for the commission. Thanks - as I suspected I was being a bit dense! As it is I find it hard enough to think up my own topics for quizzes without authoring a quiz set by somebody else on a subject I probably know nothing about, so I'll pass - thanks anyway. It's just the title you get - you can go wherever you like with it so long as the content has some relation to the title. I find it harder to think up a title for someone else than write what I'm given (with a couple of exceptions in the past). I've done enough commissions, though, so only participate these days if I need some inspiration. Which isn't now - I have four ideas to work with and that's without looking at this month's Author Gallery. None of the ideas I have fit those requirements - inevitably. Reply #8. Southendboy - you might like to look at some of the quizzes from previous commissions (they are listed here:  https://www.funtrivia.com/bb.cfm?action=details&qnid=24986&boardid=2222222&start=0 ) to see how flexible things are. I know I personally try to submit a title for which I can think of at least three entirely different approaches in different categories - and am still often surprised with what gets written. Rarely do you get something so specific you only have one way to go, although rossian has never gotten over "Why Don't sheep Sink in the Rain?" (or something to that effect).Reply #10. I've never had a title that I couldn't work with. Even the shrinking sheep sparked off a series of quizzes about sheep related topics in a few different categories. Another commission title was responsible for starting the 'Lost in' series of quizzes I've written. I'll be honest - I have had many moments of terror when first looking at the title I've been given. Some needed a few days for an idea to form, but there's no rush. You don't get any extra kudos for being the first to finish.
