Ok, I have replaced the list above with a dynamic list that will automatically update as changes are made and as quizzes are swapped out. This is real-time information: http://www.funtrivia.com/buslist.cfm Reply #21. Mar 16 10, 5:05 PM |

Are you sure you weren't missing 4? I don't see Suriname, either. Reply #22. Mar 16 10, 5:05 PM |

So now, simply by making a quiz, it will be taken off the list, or what? Reply #23. Mar 16 10, 5:07 PM |

So those in red need replacing, so I would assume anything below 25,000 is ok. ;-) How do we know when something has been claimed? Will it be bold, will it be red, or will we have to check this thread for claimed quizzes every time? Reply #24. Mar 16 10, 5:11 PM |

I also see you want any quiz over 7 years old updated, too? Those dates seem to be in red as well. Reply #25. Mar 16 10, 5:11 PM |

That list is just potential candidates. That means, if you create a quiz on one of those topics and post it here, if you can out-rate the current candidate or if your quiz is clearly better (i.e. has interesting info where the old one doesn't), your quiz will replace the current one on the list. A new Monaco quiz just went online very recently: http://www.funtrivia.com/trivia-quiz/Geography/Mini-Monaco-323659.html And if a 9 for 10 quiz is considered appropriate for the bus ride, this one is fairly highly rated and is a bit newer: http://www.funtrivia.com/trivia-quiz/Geography/9-for-10---Norway-175981.html Reply #27. Looking at a list of countries I have, the list seems to be missing Kazakhstan, Morocco and Kosovo, although the last is a disputed country/territory. Reply #28. Mar 16 10, 5:32 PM |

I'll take Liberia - lived there for a couple of years so I should be able to do something with it. Reply #29. Mar 16 10, 5:32 PM |

If we added disputed territories, I could also add Somaliland, Ceuta, Mayotte, Melilla, Saint Helena, and Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic. :-) So no, I don't think Kosovo counts. ;-) Reply #30. Mar 16 10, 5:40 PM |

Just added a flag that says whether the current quiz has extra info or not. Any old quiz without extrainfo will be replaced immediately by ANY new quiz. Reply #31. Mar 16 10, 5:45 PM |

Kosovo is like the 196th country, depending on whether you recognise it or not. The difference between Kosovo and Somaliland, for example, is that NO country recognises Somaliland independence, but many countries do recognize Kosovo's independence, including the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada. The 195 figure includes only countries that are indisputably countries. Reply #33. Mar 16 10, 5:49 PM |

If I'm allowed, I would like to take both Lesotho AND Uganda... If not, I'll put Lesotho back and take Uganda for now. :-) Reply #34. Mar 16 10, 5:59 PM |

If I am reading the list of Bus Ride quizzes and their current status right, some of the quizzes which have already been part of the Bus Ride are currently offline. In regards to those quizzes which only need extra info fixes and nothing else. Would you ever allow other site members to add interesting info to quizzes which are based on good questions, but lack only the interesting information? The Bus Ride is great Terry, thanks for adding it and puting the extra time into it to upgrade the quizzes for each country. Reply #35. Mar 16 10, 6:07 PM |

That's a good idea, BXB, kind of like a "gift" to those authors, maybe who are no longer online.... Add II FOR them, but keep the quiz online, because it has good questions... I like the idea. :-) Reply #36. Mar 16 10, 6:12 PM |

I'm not going to update the post up top on this one as I want to encourage more than one quiz for the countries listed. I think it's great to see people claiming countries for now to make sure we cover 'em all though. Definitely a good long-term goal. :) Reply #38. Mar 16 10, 9:18 PM |

Yep, feel free to have more than one quiz per country. Highest rated quiz for each one wins the spot on the tour! So if you guys want to compete, that sounds like a fun competition in itself :) Reply #39. Mar 16 10, 9:34 PM |
