While the replacement of low-ranked quizzes is a continuing goal, preparation of extra quizzes to introduce variety for the tourists is also important now that the Bus Ride is well-established. Some tourists have been around the world over ten times, and even nice quizzes get repetitive. The lowest-ranked quiz currently used for the tour has a ranking that is roughly in the top third of all quizzes, so replacement is not an urgent matter, but we would still like to have new quizzes of a suitable quality to use as replacements, to provide a bit of diversity for those players who have played every day since the beginning, and who have probably memorised the answers to the current quizzes.
If you create a new quiz on a Bus Ride country, get it placed online, and have it place within a reasonable ranking, it may be rotated in to provide a more diverse program. Should your quiz manage a higher ranking than the current entry, it could become the permanent fixture, waiting for a future challenger. As an added bonus, we have modified the ratings system to give all quizzes in our rotation a ratings bump.
Feel free to use this thread to also "claim" a country so that you don't duplicate someone else's effort, and make sure to follow along with our later posts and updates to make sure that everything is in order. We look forward to seeing what you can come up with!

I suddenly realised that ALL the bus stops are on that list, not just the ones that need doing, so I am trying to replace a perfectly good, rated in the top 5000 quiz. Um blush and Duh to me lol, I really should make sure I'm fully awake before taking on challenges. I may finish what I've started since I did play both extant Kiribati quizzes and have been careful to try and find totally new Qs, but it'll be a long while if I do ever get round to it. Rowena, Kiribati is shown with a red number - just outside the 'top quarter' that seems to be the cutoff, so Terry would apparently like another one. Is there any way to see the offline quizzes if we want to replace one of them? When will the link above show updated quizzes? Tuvalu, with an editor's choice recently completed, is still shown as the quiz from 2000 with no II which is offline. As more quizzes get written, it is going to get more and more tedious to scroll through all the pages looking to see which countries are in fact still in need of a new quiz. I realize that there is no problem having multiple good quizzes on a country, but I would prefer to put my efforts into a needy and neglected country (of which there seem to be quite a few!) rather than one which is already being given attention. When the quiz was last up on the Bus Ride (odd place for a bus to reach...) it received a number of corrections. As far as I know, while Flynn may visit the site, no quizzes have been written for a very long time. I'm not sure why they wouldn't be fixed, but it's the author's choice. Reply #78.
