Subject: What is your favorite bookstore?

Amazon.com is my favorite bookstore because of its huge variety of books, and the books are delivered right to my house!

I used to like Barnes and Noble but now I live closer to a Borders, and I must say that is much better than B&N.

My favorite book store would be Books A Million.

I frequent two bookstores regularly - Books-a-Million and Barnes & Noble.

I liked Borders and prefer B&N, but the nearest bookstore to me is 45 minutes away. My town doesn't have a single bookstore, ever since Borders shut down...

I use Amazon a lot but I can't resist spending time in Waterstones just browsing!

Barnes and Noble all the way! Although if I already know that the local bookstore has the book that I'm looking for I like to support them.

I can't afford to buy new books most of the time, so I usually get mine at second hand stores or the library.

McNally-Robinson, a home town bookstore, and Chapters, a Canadian chain-with-taste.

I find bricks and mortar new bookstores a real disappointment, in general. Even the really huge ones tend to have only am author's latest book, and maybe their "big" one. You walk in and it looks at first glance like reader's heaven - books as far as you can see - only to see that it's just multiple copies of the same book, and the same fewish authors. I guess I've been spoiled by the library - we have access through a province wide system to the collections of hundreds of different towns - and by big used-book sellers online like Amazon. There you really *can* get anything.

Agony, take a trip to the UK and go to Hay-on-Wye in Herefordshire. You'll find a booklover's dream-come-true there - over thirty used book stores in one small town,

Well it is not really a bookstore but the library is my favorite. It's free. They have everything, books, movies, music, computer stuff. It is one of my favorite places.

Borders until the one near us went out of business, so I guess Books A Million.

I know of a website where you can get free books as well as video games, cds, dvds, etc. It's a trading site & all you have to pay for is the postage to send items to other users. I've gotten alot of free books this way & it's cheap!

Bookman's. Gently used books, videos, and lots of other stuff. You can take your books and stuff in to exchange for credit. And they have areas where you can sit and read.

I mainly frequent used bookstores. There's one in my city called Hooked on Books but it's only open in the summer. There's another that is the best one I've ever been to. I go about once a year. It is called the Book Barn and it is in Niantic, Connecticut.
