I was born and raised in NY and have been to:

New Jersey
Pennsylvania
Florida
South Carolina
Virginia
Connecticut
Delaware

Those were the states we actually stayed in but drove from NY to South Carolina, so drove through all the states in between and got out to look around. I don't know if those actually count.

I am arranging a school trip to the USA! I´ve got 12 participants so far, which is enough. We will go to New York City and Washington, D.C. I don´t know which states these cities are in and, in fact, I don´t care. It´s the USA, after all:)

Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Illinois, New York. I would like to visit Vermont and Maine and the New England states. I have no desire to visit the southern states, California or Florida - far too hot and/or humid for me (although I would like to go to New Orleans and enjoy some really good jazz and eat fresh baignets!).

Jolana, New York City is in the state if New York, and Washington isn't on a state, but in the District of Columbia (that's what the D.C. stands for), a government district. It's nexxt door to Virginia and Maryland.

Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Illinois and Nebraska. I'm in a Christian Rock band so I hope to hit quite a few more before I'm done.

God Bless, Jimmy

I forgot that I lived in Oklahoma in 1951. As for California it is hot in the interior part of the state but there is plenty of towns along the coast who are lucky to have an annual temperature of less than 60 degrees, especially from San Francisco to the Northern California border.

I have been to:

Washington (the state, not DC)
Idaho
Montana
Wyoming
North Dakota
South Dakota
Iowa
Minnesota
Wisconsin
Illinois
Indiana
Michigan
Ohio
Pennsylvania
New York (the state, not the city)

which means that I have been to 15 US states.

I'm a proud Canadian but have been to quite a few states. We drove out west to BC from Ontario by going through the states in 1991, and I've driven to Florida twice, and South Carolina once. Been out east as well, driving through the states, and flew to Palm Springs, connecting in Phoenix both ways. Add numerous camping trips in the east with the family when we were kids. So 32 states (incl. 1 district) in total, alphabetically including AZ, CA, DC, FL, GA, ID, IL, IN, IA, KY, ME, MD, MA, MI, MN, MT, NH, NJ, NY, NC, ND, OH, PA, SC, SD, TN, VT, VA, WA, WV, WI, WY.
