Alabama Alaska Arkansas California Florida Georgia Hawaii Illinois Indiana Kentucky Louisiana Massachusetts Mississippi New Jersey New York Ohio Pennsylvania Tennessee Texas Utah Vermont Virginia West Virginia and I've also been to Washington, DC. So that makes 23 states + DC. I've lived in Ohio and Texas. I may have been to Maryland, but I can't remember, so I left it off the list...it would have been when I went to DC. I also may have been to Michigan and Oklahoma, passing through on other trips... I live in Belgium. I've been in the USA twice. So far I've visited 11 states: New York New Jersey Massachusetts connecticut Colorado South Dakota Montana Wyoming Idaho Utah Arizona Or 12 if you count an airport stopover in Georgia. I grew up in the military, and back in those days (the 60s) when my father was transferred every couple of years, we traveled to the new post by car. By the time I was 17 I had been to every state in the continental U.S. I made it to Hawaii and Alaska a few years later. I certainly didn't appreciate all the moving around when I was a child, but as an adult I realize how lucky I was to be able to see virtually all this vast country at a very young age. Reply #75.
