Speaking of said quiz. Here's the link to it: http://www.funtrivia.com/trivia-quiz/World/Traveling-the-Maghreb-396450.html I can't technically claim the spot for it since I have Palenque claimed, but it does belong in Mixed Sites in Africa if you'd like to include it as supplemental. My Africa Part 2 is online. Please update it in the list! I can't promise, but maybe, I would tackle South America in the future. Reply #23. Feb 25 19, 12:48 AM |

Tiffany's went online first and the challenge only required three quizzes for African sites. As with most challenges in the Lounge (unless otherwise stated), quizzes are added to the main lists when they go online, the only exception being Globetrot. This challenge was conceived in part to flesh out newly-formed subcategories to give them enough content for topic mashes and, inevitably, WTE/Duel contention, so even if they don't get added to the first post, they serve a purpose. They do not get any special recognition; they are not being added to a scavenger hunt or other game; there is no need to claw for a spot. We're all working toward the same goal here. Reply #24. Since dcpddc478 did the Mixed Sites in Oceania quiz, I guess there's no point in submitting mine? Reply #26. Mar 04 19, 12:30 PM |

Gracious, it won't be part of this challenge, but if you've written it, it will be a nice thing for the site to get another quiz. Five is the minimum for a topic mash, six would give q bit more variety. Reply #27. Mar 04 19, 4:07 PM |

Re: "Since dcpddc478 did the Mixed Sites in Oceania quiz, I guess there's no point in submitting mine?" I think I explained this a couple posts above yours. Also, why avoid submitting a quiz you've written in full? Just because it doesn't count for a challenge? Reply #28. Mar 04 19, 6:12 PM |

((Gracious, it won't be part of this challenge, but if you've written it, it will be a nice thing for the site to get another quiz. I just submitted to the queue "World Heritage Sites in South America". The title may change--at an editor's suggestion--so as not to be confused with the already posted quiz "World Heritage Sites of South America". I'm leaving the title for now since I am curious to see if it will stand. Reply #35. Apr 12 19, 1:17 PM |

I hope this doesn't sound like a stupid question but does the TITLE have to include the name of the particular landmark. I'm thing along the lines of Team Red Visits Red Square however all quesions are on St Basil's and this is reflected in the INTRO. Reply #37. Apr 14 19, 9:28 AM |

Exciting as it is to see that a quiz for a challenge has gone online, it is polite to wait a while (at least a day) to give the author the chance to post it for themselves, which is a very satisfying way of tidying up the completion of the task. I always feel a bit flat when I see it's online, and head straight to the board to post it, only to find someone else already had. Reply #40. Apr 16 19, 2:10 AM |
