- Each title may be used only once for credit, but titles can overlap or you could even use a subset of a title already used.
- You can use any category or quiz format. You could even make a crossword if you want.
- You can participate via team and co-authored quizzes, but you need to submit a total of SEVEN questions over one or more quizzes to qualify for the badgelet (this is a reduction from 2022 - if two people want to evenly split a 15Q quiz, go ahead!). Or author one crossword, those don't have multi-author options.
- The challenge will be judged like any other title-based challenge, so your title must reasonably fit the quiz. This call is (as always) made by the editor who places your quiz online.
And, because it's all about friendship, there's again a community challenge involved in this but this time it's not about categories - it's about fully completing both songs. Repeated lines or phrases of course need to be covered only once.
Conjunctions, articles and so on are free. "Yeah", however, is not, so it might be a good idea to make a quiz with that title, it could get rid of a few bad spots :)
It's strongly recommended (but not required) that you claim your title before writing just to make sure no one else will use the same title. And please, before you write, check that you're not duplicating something another author is already working on.
The challenge is open until the end of the year - you must make a first submit within 2023. You can of course do more than one title if you wish to help with the community aspect, but there's no tiers on this - you get it for one quiz just the same as for ten.

I've been talking to Lottie1001 the last two days after she pointed out to me we have long-outstanding and possibly neglected claims on the list. Two of those were from authors who haven't been on FunTrivia for several months, they are back in the pool. Lottie looked up the dates for all of the claims (thanks - it's very helpful), and it seems several of them are very old. If you see your name up there and your words are needed for the community goal, please start working or release the claim :) I don't want to step up the pressure on anyone before Dec 1 - we're in the middle of QuiWriMo and the titles you planned to do may conflict with November goals - but expect a push to come end of next week. We still need some major work to get this done! With optimzed title choices, I see a minimum of 21 more titles required. While that's only about one title per 2 days, for the whole community, it's still a bunch. Oh, someone looking for a challenge might consider doing "If" on its own. wellenbrecher: The not bolded parts are the parts missing, BUT that's from after checking and awarding. So if an entry hasn't yet been checked (and it's manual, so not instant), it may yet be complete. Or, the entry may have been claimed but not yet written. To find if your idea is still available, first pick a non-bold entry, then crosscheck check through the current page of the thread (you don't need past pages). The entry might be listed in the first post (the list by Lottie1001) as claimed or completed on a previous page. I think Wes updated the bold text in the post at the top of the page shortly after I posted the lists of claimed and completed titles. I don't think he has updated it since then. And I can't edit my lists at any time, so that will wait until the next page. It's always worth reading down the posts on the current page for the latest information. And if it's about a specific title, you can use the Control F function on one or more of the words in your proposed title, to see if anything has been posted about it. Searching on either 'full' or 'clouds' would have found both VegemiteKid's claim and the fact that it had been completed. Could you do something with 'Dark and Full of Clouds'? Or even 'And Full of Clouds' would probably qualify you for the badgelet, since it has an extra word on top of VegemiteKid's title, but Wes would have the final word on that decision. Reply #297. Any two titles that are not exactly the same work. However, of course adding just the "and" would not help with the community challenge, and probably neither would "dark and full of clouds" since the only sensible way to catch the rest of the line is "the sky above you should turn dark" (hmm, sounds like an "end of the world" religion quiz is hiding there) Reply #298.
