Answer: The match was a time-limit draw

At "Clash of the Champions I", Sting and Ric Flair wrestled for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. Flair's manager, J.J. Dillon, was suspended above the ring in a cage. Sting and Flair wrestled the entire forty-five time-limit without either wrestler gaining a decision. The five ringside judges declared this match to be a draw. Ric Flair retained the the NWA World Heavyweight Championship because of the draw.
