Hydrox is a creme-filled chocolate sandwich cookie debuted in the United States in 1908. It was made by Sunshine Biscuits Company for over 90 years. Oreo was introduced by Nabisco on March 6, 1912. Oreo soon became so popular that people thought that the Hyrox cookie was a copy of the Oreo.

Post was a patient at the Kellogg Sanitarium run by Dr. John Kellogg, he helped out in kitchen and noticed how the patients there enjoyed the granola cereal created by John Kellogg.

When Post left the sanitarium, he took with him the recipe for the cereal. Post tweaked the recipe by adding sugar and sold it as Grape Nuts.

The toy was originally sold with just the plastic body parts and used with real potatoes. Mr. Potato Head was also the first toy sold using TV advertising.

White Castle was founded in 1921, in Wichita, Kansas. It is credited as the world's first fast food hamburger chain. The little burgers known as 'sliders' first sold for five cents in 1921. McDonalds was founded in San Bernardino, California by brothers Richard and Maurice McDonald.

In 1954, Ray Kroc joined the brothers and helped to franchise the brand nationwide. In 1961, Kroc bought the brothers out and transformed McDonald's into the world's largest restaurant chain.
