They are all names for Gilbert and Sullivan operas. "The merryman and his maid" is the other name for "The Yeomen of the Guard", "The slave of duty" is "The Pirates of Penzance" and "The statutory duel" is "The Grand Duke"

Captain Corcoran and Buttercup are finally able to marry after 'circumstances' change. The others who are to be married are Sir Joseph/Cousin Hebe and Ralph/Josephine.

"W�ll, hardly ever!" This is from the song in which we are introduced to Captain Corcoran. The crew obviously know their captain a little better then he thought.
