Answer: Up in the Air

"Up in the Air" is a 2009 movie starring George Clooney. He is hired to travel around the country and layoff or fire people when the boss doesn't want to do it himself. His main goal in life is to reach 10 million frequent flyer miles.
2. The Shortest Night

Answer: The Longest Day

"The Longest Day" (1962) is a re-creation of World War II's D-Day (June 6, 1944). As General Eisenhower readies the Allied Forces for the invasion of Normandy, the Germans assume nothing will happen because of the day's bad weather. Meanwhile, the French Resistance starts cutting telegraph wires and blowing up ammunition trains; fake parachutists are dropped to confuse the Germans; and the airborne glider infantry lands near the Orne River Bridge. By dawn, the full Allied Forces are unleashed to storm the three major Normandy beaches. We witness an incredibly horrifying day of fighting, and the Allies becoming firmly entrenched on European soil with the coming of nightfall.
3. The Possessed

Answer: The Exorcist

In 1973, "The Exorcist" is being referred to as the 'most scary movie ever made'. Something evil is happening to a young girl named Regan (Linda Blair). She starts having seizures and exhibiting unnatural powers. After being contacted by Regan's mother, a priest tries to help her and comes to believe that Regan is possessed by a demon.

The priest's supervisor is called in to help save Regan, since he knows how to conduct an exorcism.
4. Sane (1960 movie)

Answer: Psycho

"Psycho" (1960) is based on a novel by Robert Bloch, which in turn was based on crimes committed by Wisconsin serial killer Edward Theodore Gein. Other movies based on this same individual are "Silence of the Lambs" (1991) and "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" (1974). In the film, Marion (Janet Leigh) steals $40,000.00 from her boss and leaves to join her boyfriend. On the way, she checks into the Bates Motel because of a bad storm.

As Marion takes a shower, the hotel's caretaker is watching through a hole in the wall. An anonymous woman is then seen stabbing Marion to death in the shower.

Then the caretaker covers up the crime, as he assumes his mother killed Marion.
5. Front Door

Answer: Rear Window

In "Rear Window" (1954) Jimmy Stewart is a photographer who is housebound while recuperating from a broken leg. He passes the time by watching his neighbors through his back window, and eventually believes he might have witnessed evidence of a murder. Alfred Hitchcock makes his traditional cameo appearance, winding a clock in the songwriter's apartment.
6. None Hate That Cold

Answer: Some Like It Hot

In the comedy "Some Like It Hot" (1959), Joe (Tony Curtis) and Jerry (Jack Lemmon) go into hiding after witnessing a gangland massacre in a parking garage. They devise a plan to disguise their identities by joining an all female band and performing as women.

When they meet the band's singer, Sugar Kane (Marilyn Monroe), both fall in love with her; but how can they keep their identities secret while pursuing Ms. Kane?
7. Business Tranquility

Answer: Domestic Disturbance

"Domestic Disturbance" is a 2001 thriller starring John Travolta. This movie's tagline was: "He will do anything to protect his family." A very predictable plot and ending, resulted in film critics not being very kind to this movie.
John Travolta stars as divorced husband and father, concerned about his 11 year old son, who tends to lie since his parents broke up. After his ex-wife gets remarried, it turns out that her new husband is not the man he appeared to be.
8. The Night Before Yesterday

Answer: The Day After Tomorrow

Meanwhile, one of the scientists' son is stranded in a frozen New York City. While most of humanity escapes to the south to a warmer climate, he heads north to try to save his son.
9. Obedience under the Paucity

Answer: Mutiny on the Bounty

"Mutiny on the Bounty" (1935) starred Charles Laughton as Captain William Bligh and Clark Gable as Fletcher Christian. There are three additional versions of this movie; released in 1916, 1962, and 1984. Captain Bligh is greedy and harsh with his men and doesn't hesitate to use the lash.

After a difficult trip to Tahiti for most of his men, they discover Tahiti to be a paradise and find it hard to leave. Back on the ship, led by the ship's second in command, the crew mutinies; casting Captain Bligh adrift with those who remain loyal to him.

The mutineers return to Tahiti for an easier life, but soon realize that Bligh has survived and is coming after them.
10. Your Biased Lord

Answer: My Fair Lady

"My Fair Lady" (1964) begins when two members of the opera house make a bet that one cannot turn a young street flower girl into a lady. Will she pass the test when they bring her out to introduce her to society?
Audrey Hepburn's singing was found to be inadequate while filming, so a soprano by the name of Marni Nixon, well known for dubbing the singing voices of many actresses, was dubbed in as Audrey's singing voice. This same lady was used as the singing voice of Deborah Kerr in the "King and I" (1956).
