1. "What about the rash?"

Answer: Sam Wheat

Sam Wheat (Patrick Swayze) says this to Carl (Tony Goldwyn) when they are in the elevator at work. They are trying to make the other people in the elevator believe Carl has a hideous disease as a prank.
2. "This chair is ugly."

Answer: Molly Jensen

Molly (Demi Moore) and Sam (Patrick Swayze) have moved in together. Sam wants to keep his favorite chair, but Molly wants to get rid of it. She tells him that the chair is ugly.
3. "It goes with me."

Answer: Sam Wheat

Molly (Demi Moore) and Sam (Patrick Swayze) are discussing the chair. Molly tells Sam that the chair does not go with anything in the house. Sam responds by telling her, "It goes with me."
4. "I'm gonna count to three; then I'm out of here. One, two, three."

Answer: Oda Mae Brown

Sam has brought Oda Mae to Molly's place to talk to Molly. Molly doesn't believe she has spoken to Sam since Sam is dead. Oda Mae finally gets frustrated that Molly won't open the door and tells her, "I'm gonna count to three, then I'm out of here. One, two, three."

Oda Mae realizes that Willy (played by Rick Aviles) lives on Prospect Place in her neighborhood. Willy is the man who killed Sam, and she decides she can't be involved knowing that she could be in danger too. So she tells Molly and Sam she is leaving and tells Molly "have a nice life", and turns to Sam and says, "have a nice death goodbye."
6. "How could she have known that?"

Molly is telling the police officers in the police station about Oda Mae Brown talking to Sam after his death. They don't believe her, so she asks them, "How else could she have known that?"
7. "I know you don't think I'm giving this four million dollars to a bunch of nuns!"

Oda Mae pretended to be someone named Rita Wilson to take money out of the bank for Sam so that Carl couldn't get it. She finds out it's four million dollars and thinks she is now rich, but Sam tells her she can't keep the money because it's blood money, and he was killed for it.

She asks what she should do with it, and he says, "There." Oda Mae looks to see some nuns and responds, "I know you don't think I'm giving this four million dollars to a bunch of nuns!"
8. "Push a penny under the door. Now."

Answer: Sam Wheat

Sam and Oda Mae have returned to Molly's place again. Oda Mae tries to convince Molly she is not a fake, but Molly does not believe her. Sam walks through the wall and tells Oda Mae to tell Molly what Molly is wearing. When that doesn't convince her he is there, he tells Oda Mae, "Push a penny under the door, now."

When she slides the penny under the door, Molly sees the penny floating up invisibly toward her and realizes that Sam is indeed in the room with her. She then opens the door for Oda Mae.
9. "I've called the police."

When Molly lets Oda Mae in and finds out about Carl, she calls the cops before Carl even arrives.

Carl has returned to Molly's place. Carl is looking for Oda Mae and the money, but Molly and Oda Mae have escaped upstairs to the attic. Molly tells Carl, "I've called the police."
10. "The love inside, you take it with you."

Answer: Sam Wheat

Sam is about to go into heaven. The light is shining on him, and he has finally told Molly he loves her (the actual words, not just "ditto," then he tells her, "It's amazing, Molly, the love inside, you take it with you."
