Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Prophet who had a vision of a valley filled with dry bones that came to life

Answer: Ezekiel

Ezekiel had a vision in which he saw a valley filled with dry bones. Details can be found in 37:1-14.

In the passage, Ezekiel states he visited the valley when "the hand of the LORD came upon me and brought me out in the Spirit of the LORD".

Ezekiel received divine instructions to prophesy and miraculously the bones came to life.

Ezekiel 37:7-10, in the NKJV, states: "So I prophesied as I was commanded; and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and suddenly a rattling; and the bones came together, bone to bone. Indeed, as I looked, the sinews and the flesh came upon them, and the skin covered them over; but there was no breath in them. Also He said to me, 'Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath, 'Thus says the LORD God: 'Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live'. So I prophesied as He commanded me, and breath came into them, and they lived, and stood upon their feet, an exceedingly great army."

Elijah went into hiding after he scored a one-sided victory over 450 prophets of Baal in a showdown on Mount Carmel. As part of the showdown, Elijah and the 450 prophets called on a higher power to ignite a sacrificial offering.
