Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. In the first scene, Cuddy tenderly cares for House. House is visibly perplexed, but Cuddy reassures House with what declaration?

Answer: "I love you."

Cuddy tends to Greg's injuries with great care and a loving attention. They share a passion which has been eluding them for quite some time. When they awake together, House inquires, "Now what?"
2. What do the other members of the team discover about Thirteen?

Answer: She is applying for a leave of absence.

Chase announces that he has steamed open a letter from Thirteen. Foreman is more blunt when he says that he simply ripped open the letter. Even so, Thirteen, at this point, refuses to divulge her plans.
3. It appears that some of the members of House's team may be misrepresenting themselves. Is Dr. Chase really a qualified neurosurgeon?

Answer: No

House suggests that Chase can occupy the position of neurosurgeon in an administrative capacity. Unfortunately, Chase is not board certified to be a neurosurgeon and this fact is discovered.
4. Foreman confronts Thirteen about her forthcoming trip to Rome. What is she doing as they discuss her plans?

Answer: She is playing billiards.

While playing pool/billiards, Foreman confronts Thirteen. He is quite aware of her plans to go to Rome for some experimental treatment. Foreman is against the idea, but Thirteen is adamant about the trip.
5. The hospital is undergoing a significant problem. It is required that they have this type of surgeon in order to maintain their credentials?

Answer: a neurosurgeon

The accreditation board requires that certain specialties always be represented within the hospital. One doctor is very ill and the others are unavailable. As it is a teaching hospital, a neurosurgeon is required to be on board.
6. Wilson breaks into House's apartment. He knows that House has been with someone. However, upon investigation, Wilson finds an empty room. Where is Cuddy?

Answer: She is hiding in the closet.

House is prepared to show Wilson that he has a real girlfriend. Somewhat to House's dismay, Cuddy decides to conceal their relationship by hiding in the closet. This serves to only exacerbate Wilson's concerns about House's rehabilitation and sanity.
7. What are Chase and Thirteen engaged in as they discuss the case of Dr. Richardson?

Answer: They are playing a game of chess.

Chase and Thirteen play a game of chess. However, during the game, Chase somewhat tacitly asks if they may have intimate relations before she leaves. Naturally, Thirteen is caught off guard, but the tension is gratefully broken by the entrance of Dr. Richardson.
8. Wilson is trying to break into House's apartment. With what sort of weapon does House prepare to defend his home?

Answer: a sword

Cuddy suggests that someone is trying to break into House's apartment. House brandishes a sword and enters the kitchen. Wilson is stuck in the kitchen window. House allows Wilson to enter with the expectation that Wilson will discover House's relationship with Cuddy.
9. A representative from an accreditation body arrives. He wants to know about Dr. Richardson's condition. Dr. Chase attempts to mollify the representative. However, his efforts are rendered in vain by what action by Dr. Richardson?

Answer: Dr. Richardson proceeds to discard his clothes.

Even the best efforts by the team to protect Dr. Richardson are belittled by Richardson's disrobing in front of every one present. The team is sadly disappointed.
10. It appears that Dr. Richardson has been inflicted with some sort of food poisoning. Which particularly insidious animal parts did Dr. Richardson digest?

Answer: toad eggs

It seems that Dr. Richardson consumed some none too nutritious condiments at a medical conference. Quite ironic. The vestibules that he consumed in the form of toad eggs turned out to be somewhat toxic. Thirteen suggested the idea and should be given the proper credit.

The administrator gives Dr. Richardson a cursory test. "Touch you index finger to your nose and tell me how you would treat a cerebral contusion." Dr. Richardson gives a satisfactory reply and all is well.
