The theme song "This Is It" played at the start of "The Bugs Bunny Show". Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck would start the song, and then the majority of the main cartoon characters would appear on stage for the final chorus. Mel Blanc would do the Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck voices of the song, which was written by Mack David and Jerry Livingstone.
When they made it the "Bugs Bunny / Roadrunner Show," they added the Roadrunner theme song. Once "This Is It" finished, the announcer would say "starring that Oscar-winning rabbit".
Then Bugs would say, "and also starring my fast-feathered friend, the Road Runner". Then "The Road Runner Show" theme would start.
