Who Is Actually In The Peaky Blinders Gang?! Quiz
I just got done binge-watching the television series "Peaky Blinders" and became fascinated with the characters. There were many street gangs featured over the years, but the primary one was the Peaky Blinders themselves.

Thomas Shelby, although not the oldest brother of the Shelby family, is the absolute leader of the Peaky Blinders. His haunted past (WWI) and greed often place the group in the path of other powerful gangs and law enforcement. Despite all this, Thomas Shelby's wish is to make the Birmingham, England street gang of the Peaky Blinders into a legitimate business empire.
Polly Gray is the Shelby boys' aunt and is the one who ran the "business" almost single-handedly while the men were fighting in WWI. She is the gang's treasurer and manages the illegal funds while also keeping their legitimate books in order. Polly is not only the matriarch of the family but is often the one who is used as a consulted advisor.
Arthur Shelby is the oldest of the Shelby brothers and has an extremely volatile temper. He is the primary enforcer of the gang and has racked up a long list of people he's maimed and killed. Arthur is a loyal soldier who respects his brother, Thomas, but struggles with his own personality and his time in the tunnels of WWI. No matter, his presence helps enforce the power of the Peaky Blinders on the streets of the city.
Ada Thorne is the Shelby boys' sister. She initially attempts to distance herself from the gang's violent reputation, but, blood being thicker than water, is normally pulled back into their events. Ada is very vocal about social conditions and current politics and is often the bridge between the criminal underworld of the gang and the political happenings in England.
Isaiah Jesus is a high-ranking soldier in the Peaky Blinders and one of the few non-family members trusted within the inner circle. Much of this trust comes from the fact that his father fought in WWI with the Shelby brothers. Part of the younger generation of the gang, he possesses grace under pressure. Being an African American, he can also cross into different social circles at that time in history to gather information.
Johnny Dogs is a permanent part of the Peaky Blinders, acting as a trusted scout, horse specialist, and the man who handles the "dirty work" of the gang that requires total discretion. He is also the bridge between Thomas Shelby and the local Romani ("Gypsy") community. He is literally the gang's eyes and ears in the rural countryside of the area.
Curly is the gentle, horse-whispering man who is the backbone of the Peaky Blinders' canal and stable operations. Often underestimated due to his "simple" and eccentric nature, he possesses an amazing way with animals and is one of the few truly innocent souls within the violent inner circle. His unwavering loyalty to the Peaky Blinders is a true asset.
Charlie Strong's ties to the Shelby family go way back and he is the master of the gang's scrap metal yard. He is also the logistical coordinator for the Peaky Blinders' smuggling operations all along the Birmingham canals. He is one of the few people who can speak plainly to Tommy, offering a logical perspective and almost fatherly guidance that helps in many situations.
Billy Kitchen is another fellow war veteran from the WWI tunnels who was recruited by Tommy Shelby to lead a 100-man crew to manage a distillery (posed as a bakery). As part of the Peaky Blinders, he and his men are the muscle in the street war against the London Italian gangs. He provides the gang with the necessary, different-skilled labor force for the "operations".
Aberama Gold is a lethal Romani hitman who became part of the extended family (and the gang) through his romantic pursuit of Polly Gray. He serves as the gang's elite primary enforcer and strategic ally. His reputation is so savage that even the most hardened Peaky Blinders respect and fear him.
Chester Campbell is an Inspector from Belfast sent by Winston Churchill to Birmingham to recover a stolen cache of arms and destroy the Shelby crime syndicate, making him the Peaky Blinders' primary law-enforcement antagonist rather than a member.
Alfie Solomons is the eccentric leader of a Jewish gang who alternates between being a strategic business ally and a rival to Tommy Shelby, keeping him outside the Peaky Blinders' inner circle.
Oswald Mosley is a cold, arrogant, intelligent Member of Parliament who leads the British Union of Fascists. He is a political adversary to Tommy Shelby.
Luca Changretta is a vengeful New York mob boss who travels to Birmingham to execute a "vendetta" against the Shelby family and his aim is to destroy the Peaky Blinders.
May Carleton is a wealthy, aristocratic horse trainer who is a romantic interest of Tommy Shelby. She remains outside the Peaky Blinders because of her high-society status and moral boundaries.
