Taking place six months after the first game, Nico and George visit Professor Bertrand Oubier's house for advice regarding a Mayan stone, in which Nico uncovered whilst researching a newspaper story.

One of the more obnoxious characters within the game, Hector makes a return in "Broken Sword 5: The Serpent's Curse".
