Answer: Professor Fig

Professor Fig and his good friend George Osric both board the carriage with you to travel to Hogwarts. During the carriage flight (by thestral) and introductions, Fig and Osric discuss the news headline on the front page of "The Daily Prophet." Ranrok, the powerful leader of a goblin resistance to wizard-kind, is gathering strength and more goblin followers to his cause. Osric reveals that Professor Fig's wife, Miriam, sent him something before she died. It is a cylindrical metal case that Osric has been unable to open. Your character notices a glow on the container, and after taking it from Professor Fig, the case opens revealing a key.

At that moment, the back half of the carriage is torn away by the jaws of a massive dragon! Poor George never had a chance! You turn around to see the thestrals pulling the carriage are now visible to you. Professor Fig tells you to jump, and both of you do so, just before the dragon attacks the remaining half of the carriage. Having initially lost the key, Professor Fig takes your hand and summons the key to him with "Accio." The key turns out to be a portkey, which transports both of you away from the dragon before it can eat you. Your journey is just beginning!

Answer: Ranrok

The portkey takes you and Professor Fig to some ancient ruins somewhere in the Scottish Highlands. You find another glow like the one on the portkey container, and it transports the two of you to Gringotts. The goblin at the desk takes you both to vault 12, which is the vault that the key opens. Once inside, the goblin locks you both inside, per the instructions given to the bankers by the person who purchased the vault space.

You and Professor Fig encounter ancient magic guardians, and after dispatching them, you enter a Pensieve, which shows you the memory of the Hogwarts professors that set up the events that led you both to the vault. After the memory, Ranrok breaks into the vault, killing the goblin banker you met at the desk. He attempts to stop you both, but his magic causes a massive guardian to rise from the floor. While Ranrok is distracted by the guardian, you and Fig slip out through another magical archway. You're both transported to an area just outside of Hogsmeade Station. You've made it to Hogwarts!

Answer: Phineas Nigellus Black

Phineas Nigellus Black was arguably the least popular headmaster Hogwarts ever had, and from the moment you meet him, it's not hard to see why. He begins berating Professor Fig for being late, and says if you're lucky, you might still get sorted. Fortunately, you are sorted into one of the four Hogwarts houses. After being sorted, Professor Black makes the announcement that the Quidditch season has been cancelled! His dislike by staff and students certainly makes sense!

All four of the listed headmasters/headmistresses in this question appear in the "Harry Potter" series. Their portraits hang on the walls of the headmaster's office, at that time, occupied by Albus Dumbledore. Professor Black plays a key part of getting Harry to the end of his battle with Lord Voldemort, despite his history as an unlikeable professor and headmaster.

Answer: Charms

Professor Ronen is the Charms Master at Hogwarts, and his unconventional teaching style can be enjoyable at times. The first day in Charms, he takes the class you are in outside for a friendly game of Summoner's Court, a game that aids students in becoming proficient in the summoning charm, "Accio." As the newest student to the ranks of Hogwarts fifth years, you are placed in the spotlight, practicing in front of the class. Professor Ronen then puts you and Natsai Onai, a Gryffindor student, against each other in a scored game of Summoner's Court.

Defense Against the Dark Arts is taken by Professor Hecat, an ex-Auror, who teaches the class how to break shield charms using certain spells. You even have your first duel at Hogwarts, when Professor Hecat pairs you up with Sebastian Sallow, a Slytherin student, for a duel. After both classes, you meet Professor Weasley, who sends you to Hogsmeade to replenish the supplies you lost during the dragon's attack on your carriage ride with Professor Fig.

Answer: Hufflepuff

Poppy Sweeting of Hufflepuff House gets her love of animals from her guardian, her grandmother. She instills in Poppy that caring for magical beasts, and nurturing them, is not only the right thing to do, but also provides advantages to wizard-kind. By that measure, they both have a great dislike of the poachers in the Hogwarts region, and Poppy tells you she wants to do whatever it takes to stop them.

She introduces you to Highwing, the hippogriff whom you later rescue from poachers with help from Natty Onai.

The two of you even rescue a dragon and its egg from the poachers, reuniting the mother with her egg after traveling to the dragon's lair.

Answer: Professor Sharp

Professor Sharp is a no-nonsense teacher at Hogwarts who is constantly telling his students the importance of maintaining focus during potions lessons, or during spell casting. He is not above giving praise where it is due, however, and does indeed compliment you on your success in brewing both a Wiggenweld (health) potion, and an Edurus (defense) potion in your first potions class. Professor Weasley is Deputy Headmistress and Transfiguration teacher at Hogwarts, while Professor Howin teaches Beasts class, and Professor Garlick teaches Herbology.

Answer: Professor Rackham

Each of the four professors send you through a trial, at the end of which is a Pensieve memory. Each one pieces together the story of Isadora Morganach, a Hogwarts student who learned how to take pain from people through her magic. The Keepers knew that the magic that Morganach was experimenting with was extremely dangerous, and insisted that she stop. When she did not, they knew that the magic that she stored could one day be used by someone else for evil purposes. So they devised the trials for one who, like Professor Rackham, could see traces of ancient magic.

Your character's journey through "Hogwarts Legacy" sends you through all four trials. Ultimately, you are forced to confront Ranrok, the leader of the goblin resistance, before he can fully unleash the store of ancient magic collected by Isadora Morganach upon wizard-kind. Professor Rackham is the first Keeper you meet, followed by, in order, Professors Rookwood, Fitzgerald, and Bakar.

Answer: Victor Rookwood

Victor Rookwood and his right hand man, Theophilus Harlow, are the leaders of the Ashwinders, who pair themselves with Ranrok and his forces, believing that Ranrok will grant them more for their magical power than the Ministry of Magic. Rookwood, Harlow, and Ranrok attempt to reach you in Hogsmeade by sending trolls to attack the main center. You use your ancient magic ability to defend Hogsmeade and its residents from the trolls.

After you meet the owner of the Three Broomsticks, Sirona Ryan, who offers you a butterbeer on the house, Rookwood enters the pub and attempts to confront you himself. Sirona puts herself between you and Rookwood, insisting rather forcefully, that you are off limits. Clearly, Sirona is a formidable ally to you and anyone who allies against Rookwood and Harlow.

Answer: Divination

Professor Onai and Natty came to Hogwarts after Professor Onai received a job offer to teach Divination. The two left their home country of Uganda, where Natty had been attending Uagadou School of Magic. Since Natty did not start at Hogwarts during first year, she is quite sympathetic and understanding of your situation, starting at Hogwarts as a fifth year student. Natty is always ready to help you out with any situation, and is eager to take down Rookwood and Harlow, much to the despair of her mother.

Answer: Anne

Sebastian and Anne have lived with their uncle Solomon in Feldcroft since the death of their father, Solomon's brother. Anne Sallow was cursed by dark magic cast by one of the Ashwinders, possibly by Victor Rookwood himself. The last thing Anne heard before she was cursed was an icy voice saying, "Children should be seen and not heard." Victor Rookwood utters that phrase to you as well, so it is not only possible, but likely, that Rookwood himself was the one who cursed Anne.

Since the curse, Anne has been too weak to attend Hogwarts. The curse is full of dark magic that Sebastian's uncle Solomon says cannot be undone. Sebastian however, is not convinced as is willing to go to any lengths to find a cure for Anne. Sebastian is even willing to use dark magic himself, or even an Unforgivable Curse, if it helps him achieve his goal of curing his sister.
