Whilst the save crystal is supposed to help the player by being able to save anywhere in the Northern Crater, using it after the point of no return means the player can no longer exit the location, missing out on optional content. There has also been numerous bugs reported in which players use the save crystal at various places in the Northern Crater, and are no longer able to exit the screen, completely ruining the save file.

2. Dragon Force is an enemy skill learnt from which enemy found within the North Cave?

Answer: Dark Dragon

Players must manipulate the Dark Dragon in order to learn this enemy skill because it will never use it on any party member out of choice. Dragon Force raises a single target's defense and magic defense to 150% when used, which explains why the Dark Dragon wouldn't use it on the player.

3. Morphing a Master Tonberry successfully will net the player which important accessory?

Answer: Ribbon

The Ribbon protects the user against all abnormal status ailments, and can also be found at Gaea's Cliff, Temple of the Ancients, and the Battle Square (after winning ten special battles).

Movers are rare encounters due to their 4.69% chance of being encountered, and were not even part of the bestiary within the original strategy guide. Whilst they give a generous amount of AP, they give zero EXP.

Giving the Magic Pot an Elixir, then killing it will net the player 8000EXP and 1000AP. If the player attacks without giving an Elixir, the Magic Pot has a chance of stealing items from a party member.

Strategically sending certain party members in certain directions will net the player very useful items and equipment, including Mystile (accessory), Hero Drink, Megalixir, and more.

9. How is the barrier broken that surrounds the Northern Crater?

Answer: Shinra uses the Sister Ray to blast through it

Powered by mako energy, the Sister Ray manages to blast through the barrier, allowing Cloud and co. to pursue Sephiroth once and for all.

10. Who is the final boss found at the heart of the Northern Cave?

Answer: Sephiroth

Whilst players must fight Jenova-SYNTHESIS, Safer-Sephiroth, and Bizarro-Sephiroth, it is plain old regular Sephiroth who is the game's actual final boss. The battle is impossible to lose.
