Mystery Sort Trivia

Inspired by a consistent ability to score 14/16 in a Mystery Sort portal, this author sought an easier pathway to success. In this alternate world, there are four distinct groups, but with an undisclosed overall theme. This is the second such quiz.

The sixteen 'words' below needed to be sorted into four very different categories. But all the vowels have been changed. Can you work out what they should be, and which ones go together? For example FanTrovoe would become FunTrivia.
