In this quiz, rearrange the words in the anagrams to come up with something from the Ancient Roman Empire (person, place, thing).

The CAPITALS in each question can be turned into hidden dogs. Between 2008 and 2020 the Kennel Club registered 11 new breeds. One emerged in the first quiz. Here are the other 10. All Breed Groups are UK. The word I is never part of the anagram.

The first sentence will always contain a word that can be "anagrammed". The rest of the story will contain a hint for the required word. Try - "The bear looked in the cupboard. It was completely empty." Bear = Bare. The answer is then "bare."
