Noble gave The Hurricane a "Powerbomb" and pinned him for the win and the championship. After the match, Nidia and Noble kissed in the ring.

Puerto Rican wrestler Juan Rivera started his WWF career as Kwang, and in 1995, he was introduced as Savio Vega, a supposed childhood friend of Razor Ramon. Vega debuted in May 1995. A month later, Vega competed against Irwin R. Schyster (I.R.S.) in a qualifying match to replace an injured Razor Ramon. Vega's victory at "Sunday Night Slam" allowed him to wrestle at the 1995 "King of the Ring" Pay Per View, where he would successfully beat Yokozuna and The Roadie. In the final match, Savio lost against Mabel.
