At the train station, Angie noticed Jesse on a train that had taken off and raced after it, yelling for him. Angie was distraught after the train left but then relieved after she noticed Jesse had gotten off it. The two embraced in a scene considered by many fans one of the most romantic in "AMC" history.

It was reported that Collins had major problems with co-star, James Kiberd (Trevor, who was Natalie's husband), and elected to leave when it was clear only one of them could stay on the soap.
