Collins, born on May 6th, 1958 in Boston, Massachusetts was cast as Natalie Marlowe in 1985 when she came to town and began her scheming. Collins would play the role until around mid 1992. She also guest starred on the TV show, "L.A. Law". In 1987, she starred in the film, "Riot on 42nd St."

Answer: Melody Anderson

Anderson, born on December 3rd, 1955 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada replaced Kate Collins midway through 1992 in the role of Natalie. She would only last in the role for a little over a year due primarily to viewer dissatisfaction over her performance. To usher in Anderson's exit, the show killed off Natalie through a car accident in the summer of 1993.

It was reported that Collins had major problems with co-star, James Kiberd (Trevor, who was Natalie's husband), and elected to leave when it was clear only one of them could stay on the soap.

Wilma Marlowe appeared briefly in the 1980s and it was revealed that she was Natalie's mother. Natalie and Wilma got along greatly and had little problems between them. The same could not be said for Janet, as we learned in the mid 1990s how strained her and Wilma's relationship was due to alleged favoritism to Natalie.

Natalie came to town as a married woman since she had wed the wealthy Alex Hunter prior to her coming to Pine Valley. However, she really wanted Alex's son, Jeremy, but so did Erica. Both Erica and Natalie became rivals shortly after Natalie came to Pine Valley and she is considered Natalie's first biggest foe. Their rivalry lasted until Natalie's death in 1993.

Janet wanted to take over Natalie's life so she lost weight, cut her hair and had it dyed to match Natalie's hair color. Janet confronted Natalie by an abandoned water well so the two fought and Janet overpowered Natalie. She stuffed her down the well but Natalie was relieved when a man named Malcolm said he would get her out of there after going to the police.

In order to get back at Galen, Carter set fire to the Dillon house. There was an explosion while Natalie was still inside the blazing home. Trevor managed to go through the home and get Natalie out safely.

However, she was blinded as a result.

Erica was upset when Jeremy chose Natalie over her so she decided to get even. This was when she met with a fake minister and told him to officiate at Jeremy and Natalie's wedding. He agreed and therefore "married" Jeremy and Natalie. Erica eventually let them know that she hired the fake minister, making their union invalid. Jeremy and Natalie eventually got married.
