1. In "Need for Speed: Underground", what is the objective in most of the missions?

Even if you never played the game, you could well have guessed that "Need for Speed: Underground" involves racing. But even then, several ways of playing could be imagined. In "Underground", the player will take on a number of opponents (usually three) and race as fast as possible, whilst evading civilian traffic. Other instalments of "Need for Speed" involve the classical "cops and robbers theme", where the player tries to evade police vehicles or can choose a role as police officer to chase speeding individuals. The coin collecting is a theme quite abundant in "Super Mario" games for Nintendo systems. One of the typical race games is "Mario Kart 7", where coins and some power-ups appear en route to the finish line. "Carmageddon" was the disputed game in which the object was to physically eliminate your opponents (by pushing them over the cliff, for example), with bonus points for the most stylish way of killing pedestrians and/or crossing animals.

"Need For Speed: World" is the only game of the "Need For Speed" series to be available for freemium. That means that most aspects of the game are provided for free, but for better cars and parts players will have to pay. In the game, there are two payment functions. One is with SpeedBoost. SpeedBoost has to be purchased using real money. Most cars, card packs, and some parts are available exclusively for SpeedBoost. The other form of currency in the game is IGC, or In-Game Cash. Players gain IGC by racing. Cars, the lowest level of Performance Parts and Skill Mods, and other modifications can be bought with IGC. Every few weeks, cars are released for IGC and others are either removed from the game or returned to being an exclusive SpeedBoost purchase. While all the "Need For Speed" games have a certain amount of online gameplay, they also have a single player campaign. "Need For Speed: World" alone does not have a single player option. Instead, it is a MMORG, or a Massively Multiplayer Online Racing Game.

Also part of car customization are the Vinyl and Paint Shops for decorating the vehicles. The Car Dealer, where cars are bought and sold, is also accessed in the Safehouse. Players can also change to other drivers on the same account, buy card packs for car modifications, and edit their Powerup Console for use in events. Prior to 2013, detailed driver statistics could also be found in the Safehouse, but that capability was removed on April 10, 2013 as win-loss ratios would no longer be available due to the addition of Achievements.

If Treasure Hunt is done daily (each day changes and a new Treasure Hunt appears at 12:00 AM GMT time), players get a continuous streak. Theoretically, the longer the streak the better the reward at the end.

If you manage to get the pink slip for Webster's car, it should set you up for the rest of the game. Note that the C6 is also one of the fastest cars in the game, so it is worth restarting the entire game just to gain this car. Throughout the game, he will call you and leave some, quite frankly, comical messages. He also appears in "Need for Speed: Carbon" as a bounty hunter.

There are buses in the game, but none that you can drive. Just imagine how unstoppable you'd be if you were allowed to drive a bus. It would be just like the movie "Speed."

Powerups add to the cars abilities in an event. They can be activated by a player selecting the powerup they want in their Powerup Console. The Powerup Console can be modified in the Safehouse. A console has a maximum of four different kinds of Powerups. Some Powerups are tailored to enhance performance in a certain event. For example, "Run Flats" fix your tires instantly if you go over a spike strip in Team Escape or Pursuit. Powerups can be crucial to a race, as they include Nitrous, which gives the car a powerful boost, Juggernaut that increases weight until police and other players can be tossed in the air, and many others. Performance Parts, Skill Mods, and Aftermarket Parts also increase cars' performance, but they only affect a car's overall performance. Once in an event, the parts cannot be used to add an additional boost. However, Skill Mods may enhance the effects of Powerups.

Rog, which I can only assume is short for Roger, meets you near the beginning of the game and says the underground let you loose (in reference to the "Need for Speed: Underground" games). You then race him and two others and after you win, he says he'll see you around. Later, he hooks you up with some buddies that you can buy new cars from or get performance and visual upgrades from. Neville is a character in "Need for Speed: Carbon," played by Chris Gauthier.

Although you don't have the opportunity to choose your own car for this or any other challenge in the Challenge Series, the Gallardo is a great car to have for this 30-minute pursuit. What it lacks in handling it makes up for with pure speed and acceleration. This can be a tough pursuit and it really doesn't feel good when you have about two minutes to go and get busted (trust me, I know).
