New Questions - Rules and Game Details
Play our
10 question New Question Game each day to participate in a unique FunTrivia experience. In this game, you see questions that are appearing
for their first time ever on our site, so
everyone is on a completely level playing field -- no memorization is possible!
This game consists of new 'Question Quest' questions submitted by players. After you complete
your quiz, you can offer feedback to earn points and help us determine whether we should use these questions in our other
games in the future.
Time Penalties: Time penalties in this game are fairly harsh to discourage players researching answers. This game uses accuracy statistics to help us determine whether questions are good for our other games, so
we really want to avoid skewed statistics arising from players looking up answers. Please play this game without 'research' to stay within the spirit of the game.
Score Comparisons: To prevent the sharing of answers, we run with 15 distinct question sets, randomly assigned to
players as they play. Players are scored against those
players who have identical questions to them, so that we have an absolutely fair playing field.
FunTrivia Points Awarded: This game awards your score divided by 5 points as bonus FunTrivia
Points each day in each question set. Bonuses (*): +250 for winner, +150 for 2nd, +100 for 3rd, +50 for 4th/5th, +30 for
6th-10th

Question Quest Author Challenge - Go To Challenge Page
Awarded to a player who creates 50 rated question quest questions that were rated 0.2 or better in the New Question game and where 55% to 90% of players answered correctly. We can use these questions in many hourly/daily games and thus those few authors able to write these questions deserve special recognition!
