Solving a puzzle, riddle or problem can be quite difficult. Hopefully these rebuses aren't too difficult for you!

2. Use your brain.

Your first step is to take your puzzle and think about it. Depending on the type of puzzle, this might mean reading it through, listening, or just looking at images.

3. Look at everything.

Answer: see the big picture

Step back (figuratively) and look at the puzzle as a whole, before getting into the details.

4. Look closely.

Answer: read between the lines

Then, get into the details. Look for trick questions or tricky wording, or try to determine how images relate to each other.

5. Innovative ideas help the process.

Answer: think outside the box

Try not to be too literal in your thinking.

6. Take your time.

Answer: work it out

Don't rush things (unless you quickly solve your puzzle, and know you are correct). If you're not figuring it out, step away and come back to it with a fresh mind. Then, be methodical.

Maybe you want to do it on your own, but another perspective might be just what you need.
