Grif and Simons are on top of the red base having a conversation while Church spies on them with the sniper rifle, with Tucker at his side. Tucker gets defensive when Church gets mad at him for asking what's happening, explaining that all they ever do is stand there and talk.

This episode basically explains the simplicity and stupidity of the situation in Blood Gulch. The only reason each army has a base in the boxed canyon is because the other army also has a base.

Answer: Puma

Sarge liked to call the new vehicle, M12 LRV, the Warthog. Grif argued that it didn't look much like a warthog, but a puma. Grif tried to explain that the puma was a big cat, but Sarge denied that it was a real animal. Sarge later heckled Grif by suggesting other animals, including Bigfoot, Unicorn, and other mythical animals.

Answer: Get two quarts of elbow grease and some headlight fluid from the store.

Grif seemed to have a bit of a problem with Donut so Simons sent him on a mission to get two quarts of elbow grease, and Grif added the headlight fluid for the puma. Grif and Simons had just assumed that Donut would wander the cliffs for a while and return, but instead, he went to the Blue Base where they had just received a tank. Donut started running to the base with glee, exclaiming "oh sweet, they sell tanks!"

Answer: The General

Tucker and Church got mad at Caboose and told him to stand at attention by the flag in case the General decided to drop by. Soon after, Donut arrived, and asked for directions. Church didn't bother to turn around to see who it was and just assumed that it was Caboose.

The two rookies met in the base. Caboose thought Donut was the General, and Donut thought Caboose was the store owner. When Caboose didn't have any headlight fluid or elbow grease, Donut decided to take the flag, as he didn't want to go back empty handed. Caboose let him go, as he thought Donut was a superior officer. Ultimately, the red team got the blue flag, which was one of the main goals in the war, because the blue guys were too ignorant.

Answer: They were covered in black stuff

When Church and Tucker found out that the Donut took the flag, Church tried to shoot him down with a sniper rifle, but missed. Church decided they should use the teleport to catch up with Donut. He ordered Tucker in first, who was reluctant, but went in anyway with a little persuasion. After Church saw that Tucker didn't come out the other side, he decided to take the long way and run.

Answer: Sent him back in time

When Tucker got through the teleport, finally, he tried to explain that the rookie would one day become a sergeant. Church then explained that Donut was not a sergeant, but a rookie with standard issue red armor, which happened to be the same colour as Serge's. All this conversation eventually bought enough time for Grif and Simons to come rescue Donut.

Answer: Caboose

Caboose saw Church and Tucker pinned down by the suppressive fire from Simmons. He debating staying at the base, but decided to just take the tank that no one knew how to drive. The tank actually came with a tutorial program that neither Tucker nor Church knew about, which would have allowed them to effectively use the tank.

Answer: Church

Caboose was riding the tank and set it to autofire. After Simmons and Grif hid behind the rock when the tank couldn't see them, it started looking for new targets. It found and locked onto Church, and, even though Caboose implored the tank to unlock the target, it shot him. Before dying, Church explained that he hated Tucker the most.

Answer: They used a bombing run

The tank had Red base under siege. Donut, Simmons, and Grif were all taking cover without any plan. Sarge then came in on the radio, and the Grif explained to him the situation. Serge said he had a solution to their tank problem and flew in a bombing run. Caboose barely made it out of the tank alive.

Answer: Tex ripped his skull right out of his head and beat him to death with it.

Tucker put in a request for reinforcements from Blue Command and they decided to send a freelancer. Right after, the ghost of Church came back and warned Tucker of the freelance Tex. Church went into a flashback about his days on Sidewinder. Tex came and slaughtered everyone but Church. Jimmy was the last one to die. Tex ripped his skull right out of his head and beat him to death with it. Tucker interjected that it didn't seem physically possible, and Church commented that that was what Jimmy was saying as he was being beaten.

In the filming, they gave Tex the Oddball (a skull), and meleed Jimmy to death.
