Korra has been spending the time at the South Pole trying to recover from the fight with Zaheer. She hasn't contacted any of her friends, except for Asami, in three years.

The vision of Korra who attacks her is in the Avatar State. Korra can't win a bending fight with anyone because, in her mind, her opponent keeps taking the form of herself when she was poisoned in "Venom of the Red Lotus."

3. While traveling alone, whom does Korra meet in a swamp?

Answer: Toph

Toph lives there because she can connect to everything in the world through the swamp plants. She is the one who discovers that Zaheer's poison is still in Korra's body and is partly responsible for why Korra hasn't healed mentally or physically.

In her speech, Kuvira says that succession-based monarchies caused the Earth Kingdom's problems. She calls the Earth Kingdom the Earth Empire, takes away Wu's power as King, and sets herself up as the leader.
