Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Which of the following is correct?

Answer: Quizzyland is a great place to play trivia games.

This is a plain old sentence: one idea, no commas, one period.
2. Which of the following is correct?

Answer: Although I also visit Amazon.com, Quizzyland is my favorite site.

A good rule-of-thumb about commas is that they go where you would take a breath or a pause if you were speaking. Try saying both the correct and incorrect answers this way and you'll see what I mean.
None of the incorrect answers are identical to the correct one. One is missing a period at the end of the sentence. One is missing a comma after "com." One has an extra comma after "Although."
3. Which of the following is correct?

Answer: Quizzyland has many quizzes. Education is my favorite category.

You need to put a space after a period. These are two separate ideas, so they are two separate sentences.
4. Which of the following is correct?

Answer: I'd like it if you played my quiz.

This is just a regular old sentence, so it needs a regular old period at the end.
5. Which of the following is correct?

Answer: You must play my quiz!

An exclamation point is appropriate here because a strong feeling is being conveyed. There is only one idea in this sentence, so no commas are necessary.
6. Which of the following is correct?

Answer: Who wrote this silly quiz?

It's a question, so it needs a question mark. It's just one idea, so no commas.
7. Which of the following is correct?

Answer: I like editing quizzes. I do it all day long.

This is two separate ideas, so it should be two sentences, with a space between the periods.
8. Which of the following is correct?

Answer: I write quizzes about cats, rats, and rabbits.

Separate items in a list with a comma. There is disagreement about whether you need a comma after the word before 'and'.
9. Which of the following is correct?

Answer: Quizmakers, like any other people, can make mistakes.

The idea within the commas is a separate idea- a clause. If you took out the material between the commas, the sentence would still make sense.
10. Which of the following is correct?

Answer: This quiz is great and educational.

The others are sentence fragments.
