This is one of my pet peeves. So many people think that the denominations of Christianity (Catholicism, Baptist, Episcopalian, Nazarene, Assembly of God, Church of Christ, etc..) are somehow distinct from Christianity. Christianity is a giant umbrella these are under.

There is a split between Catholicism and Protestant denominations (which include the above named non-Catholic churches), but they are all still Christian.
