Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. [...] if a battle just ended, may "revive" (place here from Lost Pile) one character forfeited from same site this turn.

Answer: Ben (Obi-Wan) Kenobi

In spite of Obi-Wan holding the title of Master, his cards always treat him only as a Jedi Knight with Ability 6 (5 for his Tattooine-based Padawan card), mirroring Vader's utility role on the light side, especially in the Premiere set. Due to the character's early death in the movies, he had not that many versions and many of the later variants were considered weak by players.

The snippet is from his Special Edition card called Ben Kenobi, recreating the scene on Tattooine in which he rescued Luke.
2. While at Jedi Council Chamber, [...] if a weapon or battle destiny was just drawn, may cancel and cause a re-draw.

Answer: Plo Koon

Plo Koon's only card, from the Coruscant set, shows him as a Jedi Master with a power of 5 who can deploy only to the Jedi Council Chamber but provides excellent defensive abilities there, suitable for a deck built around heavy Force generation from that site. Most crucially, he can force an opponent to re-draw a destiny number, messing up attempts to line up a high number for devastating effect.
3. Adds 3 to power of any starship he pilots. On Red 5, also adds 2 to maneuver.

Answer: Luke Skywalker

Luke has eight different character cards in the game, ranging from the extremely weak version (Power 2, Ability 3) in the Introductory Two Player Game to his Jedi incarnations in Death Star II and Reflections 2, both of which have Power and Ability 6. However, that does not make him the most printed character - his sister Leia takes that title with nine versions throughout the game.

In spite of Luke's importance for the story, his character cards are almost all rather generic and do not reflect the pivotal events he was involved in - that happens in the game through Effect and Interrupt cards. The quote is from his Premiere version, highlighting his fighter pilot skills in the Battle of Yavin.
4. When the mentor, 1 to training destiny I add.

Answer: Yoda

Yoda's representations in the card game represent his low physical power (2 in the Dagobah set, 3 in the Episode I cards). The game text on his Dagobah card uses "Yoda grammar" for flavor. Unlike most other Jedi in the game, he never had a combo card with a built-in weapon printed.

The game text is from his Dagobah card which, for flavor reasons, was printed entirely in Yoda grammar. The Episode 1 cards unfortunately never did this.
5. Once per turn, you may take Force Lightning into hand from Reserve Deck.

Answer: Emperor Palpatine

Palpatine exists in the game as a non-Jedi light side version (Senator Palpatine) with Ability 4 as well as in several Dark Jedi Master versions under both his Darth Sidious and Emperor Palpatine names. His ultra-rare Death Star II card, from which the above line was taken, is one of the most sought after cards in the entire game. Having two Force Lightning cards in hand almost guarantees you can kill any character present with Palpatine, so the ability to repeatedly fetch them can form the basis of an entire deck.
6. [...] if opponent just initiated a battle [...], opponent must lose top card of their Reserve Deck.

Answer: Ki-Adi-Mundi

Ki-Adi-Mundi has a single card in the game, from the Coruscant expansion, which references him as not being a Jedi Master, in direct conflict with the official documentation. The card puts him at 5 power and has a penalty to deploying at any location that is not the Jedi Council Chamber. The quoted ability reflects his ability as a strategist and military leader, letting him disrupt an opponent's carefully set up destiny draw.
7. Target "choked" (lost) if destiny greater than ability.

Answer: Anakin Skywalker / Darth Vader

In spite of Anakin being a key character in Episode 1, there was never a character card made for the child version. The only card by the name is a Death Star II Interrupt showing a maskless, dying Vader. Of course, Vader himself has a plethora of incarnations throughout the game, with Power 6 or 7, Ability 6 and usually strong general-purpose capabilities, making at least one version of him almost a must have in any combat-oriended Dark Side deck. The quoted ability is from his Special Edition card, reflecting his signature Force choke ability.
8. Adds one battle destiny if with Maul.

Answer: Qui-Gon Jinn

Qui-Gon Jinn has three cards in the game, in the Tattooine, Theed Palace and Reflections 3 expansions, all with Power 6, Ability 7 and focused on lightsaber duels and/or combating Darth Maul. The quote is from the Theed Palace version that comes with a built-in lightsaber - a weapon type that lets players draw two cards for its weapon destiny and thus having a high chance of hitting even strong characters.
9. [...] if Amidala at a battleground site and Maul not on table, opponent loses 2 Force.

Answer: Mace Windu

As Mace Windu mostly got his opportunities to shine only in Episode 2, after the game had already been discontinued, it shouldn't be a surprise that neither of his two cards was very strong. His Coruscant card was another piece in a Council Chamber strategy that tried to avid battle, and his Theed Palace incarnation is geared towards defeating Darth Maul, not quite in line with the story that had him travel to Naboo only after Maul was killed.
10. [...] peek at the top card of any Reserve Deck and place that card on top of owner's Reserve Deck or Used Pile.

Answer: Depa Billaba

In line with her relatively low importance, Depa Billaba's only card, from the Coruscant set, only has a Power of 4. She however combines the 7 Ability and extra Force generation of a Jedi Master with the low deploy cost of 4 and her ability lets her modify destiny draws before they even happen.
