There is a Corinium Museum located in Cirencester which focuses on the Romans and their lives in and around the town.

3. What nickname does Freddie Jones' awful wife insist upon being called at all times?

Everyone is horrified whenever Valerie insists that they call her by this pet name, and Sarah Stratton and Lizzie Vereker have great trouble not laughing out loud the first time she does this!

Lizzy has an unpleasant husband and Freddie has a very unlikeable, social climbing wife, and the two embark on an affair which leaves both of them very happy. In future books we find out that they have married.

9. Who wins the franchise for the television company in the end?

Answer: Venturer

Happily, Venturer wins at the end of the book, despite Rupert's very explicit memoirs being published that week in 'The Scorpian' newspaper. Declan is so shaken when he is told that he has won, that everyone assumes to begin with that they have lost the bid.

Answer: Rupert and Taggie

Rupert has been in love with Taggie for a long time, and Taggie has loved him for ages too. It is such a sweet ending to see the two of them finally get together!
