Macros manipulated Pug's life in many ways including influencing his training on Kelewan. Tomas' life was influenced by Macros through the Dragon Armour, and on Sorcerer's Isle, Macros manipulated Pug into tripping so that Kulgan's ankle would get injured and he would have leave to give Kulgan his staff.
