In "Catching Fire" when Katniss and President Snow meet, Snow tells Katniss about Seneca's death as a sign of power and a threat toward her and her loved ones. Later when the tributes are being evaluated for the Quarter Quell, Katniss hangs a dummy with a noose and writes "Seneca Crane" across the chest.
