Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. In what fictional 1882 Arizona town does the movie take place?

Answer: Old Stump

Not a very nice place, as Seth MacFarlane's character Albert exclaims, "We live in a terrible place and time. Everything that's not you wants to kill you".
2. What type of farmer is Albert Stark (Seth MacFarlane)?

Answer: Sheep

And probably not a very good sheep farmer as the scene with a sheep on top of a house indicates.
3. What is the main reason Louise (Amanda Seyfried) dumps Albert as her boyfriend?

Answer: He is a coward

Albert chickens out of a gunfight against a man that claims Albert owes him money. Despite his expression of his love for her, Louise leaves poor Albert alone at a picnic.
4. After leaving Albert, Louise takes up with Foy (Neil Patrick Harris), a dapper, well-to-do businessman. What type of business does Foy own?

Answer: Moustachery

Perhaps in a large city a businessman could prosper selling facial hair products in an elaborate shop. It is comical in Old Stump, Arizona.
5. Albert's best friend Edward (Giovanni Ribisi) is engaged to Ruth (Sarah Silverman), a hard working prostitute. What is funny about their relationship?

Answer: They abstain from premarital sex

There are several "tender" scenes with Edward and Ruth and her many customers. We learn that Edward is not concerned about the situation because he has never been with a woman.
6. While traveling with his wife Anna (Charlize Theron), bad man Clinch Leatherwood (Liam Neeson) encounters an old prospector. How does Clinch acquire a gold nugget from the old man?

Answer: Shoots him dead

Leatherwood challenges the old prospector to a gunfight and to draw on the count of "three". Of course the scoundrel draws and fires on the count of "two".
7. To impress Louise and further humiliate Albert, Foy challenges Albert to a duel. To prepare for the gunfight, Anna desperately tries to teach Albert how to shoot. What one thing saves Albert from a certain death?

Answer: Laxative

Anna secretely slips something into Foy's drink. If you are of a squeamish nature, the scene where the laxative take effect might be a bit offensive.
8. While fleeing an enraged Leatherwood for kissing his wife Anna, Albert is captured by a band of Native Americans who threaten to burn him at the stake. How is Albert saved?

Answer: Language ability

Moments before he is to be set afire, Albert regains consciousness and begins speaking to his captors in their own language.
9. Albert prevails in the inevitable showdown with Leatherwood. What was Leatherwood's cause of death?

Answer: Poison

Knowing that his aim was terrible, Albert coated his bullets with rattlesnake venom. He also knew that Leatherwood would propose drawing on the count of three, but would draw and shoot on the count of two. Albert shot in the direction of Leatherwood on the count of one, only nicking him. His only remaining challenge was to keep talking until the poison took effect.
10. Near the end of the movie there is a fair with a shooting gallery using offensive moving targets. What surprise guest-star makes an appearance at the gallery?

Answer: Jamie Foxx

The targets are cartoonish runaway slaves. Reprising his movie role in "Django", Jamie Foxx approaches the gallery counter and shoots the operator.
