Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Kevin Hart plays the title role in "The Wedding Ringer". What is the name of his business in the film that perfectly describes what services he provides?

Answer: The Best Man Inc.

As described in the film, Jimmy Callahan (Kevin Hart) provides best man services to guys that are lacking in the friend department. When Doug Harris (Josh Gad) first walks into Jimmy's office he sees numerous pictures from previous weddings that Jimmy provided best man services for.
2. Which individual who practices deceit in his own job refers Doug Harris to Jimmy Callahan in "The Wedding Ringer"?

Answer: Edmundo the party planner

After Doug faints during one of the pre-wedding meetings, Edmundo (Ignacio Serricchio) confronts Doug about his groomsmen. When Doug admits that he doesn't have any real groomsmen Edmundo tells him to contact Jimmy Callahan.
3. When Doug meets Jimmy in "The Wedding Ringer" he describes how he needs a full wedding party including seven groomsmen. What term does Jimmy use to describe this type of service package?

Answer: Golden Tux

At first Jimmy tells Doug that a Golden Tux has never been done and he doesn't think it's possible to arrange in just two weeks. However, after Doug says he'll pay whatever the price is Jimmy agrees to provide his services for $50,000.
4. One evening when Doug and Gretchen were talking she asked him who was going to be his best man. After looking in the bathroom cabinet at his razors and deodorant Doug 'found' his answer. What name did Jimmy undertake as Doug's best man in "The Wedding Ringer"?

Answer: Bic Mitchum

In addition to making up the name of his best man, Doug fabricated lies about Bic's occupation, birthplace, and service in the military. When Gretchen hears that Bic is in town shes asks Doug to bring him to a family dinner where her family asks them numerous questions about how they know each other.
5. In addition to making up the name of his best man, Doug also made up the names of his other groomsmen in "The Wedding Ringer". These names included Drysdale, Garvey, Plunkett, and Rambis. From what field did he obtain these names?

Answer: Sports

In a scene toward the end of the movie when Gretchen is getting suspicious it shows images of Don Drysdale, Steve Garvey, Kurt Rambis, Eric Dickerson, and Jim Plunkett. When Doug first sees the groomsmen that Jimmy found for him he says that they look like "the cast of 'Goonies' all grown up".
6. In the midst of their preparation for Doug's big day the groomsmen and Doug engage in a competitive game against his future father-in-law and his friends. What game was it that Doug played against his father-in-law in "The Wedding Ringer"?

Answer: American Football

The game began with Doug's team taking it easy and not expecting the much older team to play hard. His father-in-law's team had a lead but Bic encourages Doug and the rest of his team to play better or his father-in-law will never respect him. Former NFL players Joe Namath, John Riggins, and Ed "Too Tall" Jones were featured on the opposing team.
7. Doug's groomsmen blindfold him and take him to a bachelor party in which he gets a Fletcher. What exactly was Fletcher in "The Wedding Ringer"?

Answer: A basset hound

At his bachelor party Doug is introduced to Nadia who puts peanut butter, a blindfold, and restraints on him. After he is blindfolded a basset hound named Fletcher comes and licks off the peanut butter. Unfortunately both Doug and Fletcher get injured during the hijinks.
8. The rehearsal dinner in "The Wedding Ringer" features a slideshow of different experiences the groomsmen had together. Which of these is one of the staged experiences that were shown at the rehearsal dinner?

Answer: Skydiving

In addition to the skydiving photo, the group also staged photos of them in a bowling league, climbing a mountain, and snorkeling. Before the groomsmen spoke some of Gretchen's bridesmaids sang her an embarrassing song they made up for her.
9. The actual wedding in "The Wedding Ringer" does not happen quite as planned. How do those outside of the groomsmen find out about the phony participants in the wedding?

Answer: Doug makes a confession while Jimmy is giving his best man speech.

Also during the wedding Doug overhears Gretchen tell Jimmy that the only reason she married Doug was because she was tired of jerks and he was good family material. Even though they had a wedding ceremony, Doug tells those in attendance that they weren't actually married because Jimmy is not a real priest and that they do not love each other.
10. The last line before the end credits in "The Wedding Ringer" is uttered by Lurch as the groomsmen and friends are flying to Tahiti. Spoken by Jorge Garcia who previously starred in the television show "Lost", what was this line?

Answer: I have a bad feeling about this flight.

In the television show "Lost", Garcia played one of the members of the flight that crashed near an island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. While Garcia's character is nervous about the flight in "The Wedding Ringer" everyone else on the flight seems to be having a great time.
