1. Who was once a prime minister among these group of strangers?

Answer: Avril Phaedra Campbell

Avril later changed her name to Kim Campbell. She became Canada's first female prime minister on June 25, 1993. She succeeded Brian Montgomery after his retirement as leader of the Progressive Conservative Party. In the general elections of October 1993, the Liberal Party defeated her party.
2. Can you guess who is the jazz artist among these four?

Answer: Ferdinand Morton

Ferdinand was one of the first great New Orleans jazz artists. He began recording in 1923 as a solo pianist, and then with his band, the Red Hot Peppers. Many of his compositions have become jazz standards.
3. One of these people is a World Champion chess player. Can you guess which one?

Answer: Garry Kasparov

In 1997, Garry made front-page news when he lost in a six-match chess game against Deep Blue, a computer. He only won in their match twice. However, this does not mean that computers are smarter than men.

The American Library Association annually gives the Caldecott medal to the artist of the most distinguished American picture book for children. In 1985, Trina won the medal for her picture book, "Saint George and the Dragon."

Answer: Leland Stanford

Leland served as governor of California from 1861-1863. In 1861, he co-founded the Central Pacific Railroad and became its president till his death. In 1885, Leland established Stanford University near Palo Alto as a memorial to his son.

Answer: Toyotomi Hideyoshi

Toyotomi was Japan's greatest warrior and was one of the three leaders of Japan's 16th century. He could neither read nor write and he was an ugly man, nicknamed "Kozaru" or "Little Monkey." He dreamed of conquering China, but he failed to do so before he died.

Jesse led a gang of bandits after the United States Civil War and did daring crimes. In 1881, James bought a house in St. Joseph, Missouri, grew a beard and changed his name to Tom Howard. On April 3, 1882, James stood on a chair and dusted a picture. His friend and gang member, Bob Ford, for a $10,000 reward, shot him in the back of the head.

Answer: Frederic Chopin

Frederic is one of the greatest composers for the piano. His expressive and melodic music is considered part of the Romantic Age. His best works are short compositions for the piano alone--preludes, etudes, nocturnes, waltzes, polonaises and mazurkas.

Answer: Bahar Soomekh

Bahar played an Iranian-American woman named Dorri in 2005's "Crash". Her character could speak fluent English and Farsi. "Crash" won an Academy Award for Best Picture and the entire cast won the Screen Actor's Guild Award for Outstanding Cast in a Motion Picture. Bahar also played the leading role in "Saw III" as Dr. Lynn Denlon.

Answer: Byron De La Beckwith

Beckwith assassinated Medgar Wiley Evers on June 12, 1963. That same year, the NAACP posthumously awarded Medgar the Spingarn Medal. Medgar was the field secretary of NAACP from 1954-1963.
11. Who was a glue factory owner?

Answer: Peter Cooper

When Peter was in his 20s, he bought a glue factory that soon supplied glue on most parts of the United States. He also built the first steam locomotive (but he is not a railroad builder) in the United States but it was so small, it was called "Tom Thumb" Cooper was nominated for president by the Greenbacks in 1876. He only won a small number of votes. The Greenbacks was a reform political party.
12. Who was an explorer and a navigator?

Answer: Giovanni Cabot

Giovanni was also known as John Cabot. Although he's Italian, he sailed as a captain of an English ship called "Matthew" and probably landed somewhere around Canada in his voyage to reach Asia.
13. Who was a trapeze flyer?

Answer: Miguel Vasquez

In 1982, at the age of 17, Miguel became the first human to ever achieve a quadruple somersault (rolling four times in midair) from a flying trapeze to a catcher!
14. Which of these women was crowned Miss Universe?

Answer: Gloria Diaz

Gloria was born as Gloria Maria Aspillera Diaz. She's a veteran in Philippine cinema and she's a very well respected actress in the Philippine film and TV industry. She was known around the globe as the first Filipino to be crowned as Miss Universe on 1969.
