5. The young woman who was a daughter of David

Tamar was the daughter of David and Maacah. Scripture tells of Tamar being raped by her half brother Amnon, the son of David and Ahinoam. Little is known about Tamar as she is mentioned in only 2 Samuel 13, which tells of her being sexually assaulted.

Later, Amnon would be killed by Absalom, the full brother of Tamar.
6. The man who was the best friend of David

Answer: Who is Jonathan?

Long before the term 'bromance' was invented, David and Jonathan were the best of friends. In fact, Samuel 18:1 in the NKJV states, "the soul of Jonathan was knit to the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as his own soul." This even though Jonathan's father was Saul and he despised David.

In fact, in his latter years Saul devoted much of his time and energy trying to kill David. However, Saul's efforts were always unsuccessful.
7. The king of Judah who was assassinated by two of his assistants

Answer: Who is Joash?

Joash, king of Judah, was assassinated by two of his assistants -- Jozabad and Jehozabad. 2 Kings 12:20 states Joash was assassinated at Beth Millo, on the road down to Silla. Joash had reigned in Jerusalem for forty years. Amaziah his son succeeded him as king.

Joab, a nephew of David and an army commander, was part of the plot that resulted in the death of Uriah. According to Scripture, David had an adulterous affair with Bathsheba, Uriah's wife. When Bathsheba became pregnant David schemed to cover up the fact she had an adulterous affair. However, when his schemes failed to work, David finally opted to remove Uriah, a soldier, from the scene. To this end, David ordered Joab to send Uriah to the front line where fighting against enemy forces was fiercest and then have all the supporting soldiers retreat, making Uriah an easy prey for the enemy. David's scheme, with Joab's help, worked without a hitch.

For full details, see 2 Samuel 11.
